Delivery

CARRIAGE PAID TERMS

Carriage is Free on all orders over £50.00 nett value when delivery is requested on the U.K. mainland (delivery within 2-5 days). The minimum carriage paid order for Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands is £250.00 nett. Charges for less than the carriage paid amounts are indicated below. For other offshore islands, we can deliver carriage free to any mainland port providing minimum order value is £50.00 nett.

EXPRESS SERVICE
Special carrier express services are available on request for a supplement. Basic next day charges start at just £15.95 per delivery up to 30kg for UK Mainland. See the table below for full details. For other areas please contact our sales office.

N.B. All NEXT DAY orders must have been fully processed before 3.30pm, any processed after this time will be dispatched the following working day.

All goods are delivered on normal working days, unless you have upgraded to Saturday delivery. Goods are not delivered on public holidays. If you order a product that cannot be delivered in the times shown we will contact you to let you know and give you the opportunity to cancel or change your order.

All Deliveries:
The carriers will require a signature for the goods at the delivery address, so somebody needs to be there until 6.00pm on the day of delivery. If the delivery is to a communal building (e.g. a block of flats) you should be aware that the carrier company drivers will not carry heavy loads on their own and they will need to see identification before leaving the goods. (This is to protect us from credit card fraud)

Delivery Methods:
We use a number of couriers to deliver our products. The courier used will depend on what you order and where the items are being delivered to.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY:
Next day orders will be delivered up to 5:30pm. Any late deliveries will be upgraded to premium service where possible. Carsmetic will not be responsible for any financial loss or claims arising from late or transit damaged deliveries.

LOSS OR DAMAGE NOT NOTIFIED ON CONSIGNMENT NOTES OR DRIVER'S MANIFESTS:
If on delivery there is no apparent loss or damage and the goods are signed for, you have until 5pm on the next working day to notify verbally any loss or damage found after delivery and must follow with a claim in writing within 7 days. Any such claims must include the full name of the person you first advised verbally.

CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS:
We do not accept liability for any direct or indirect consequential loss or damage arising from the failure of one of our products, nor do we accept liability, directly or indirectly, as a result of late or lost delivery or for the accuracy of the specifications shown in the catalogue.

CARRIER COLLECTIONS:
Please ensure goods are ready for collection, clearly marked, packed suitably and can be easily handled. Note that there is a £15.00 fixed charge for any failed collection requests due to goods not being ready when the carrier calls.
